Maryland once again trying to legalize gamblingJanuary 18, 2011 – The state of Maryland under the leadership of State Senator Kathy Klausmeier is once again looking to bring table games to its casinos.  Senator Klausmeier introduced the bill just three days ago which would legalize Las Vegas style gambling tables in the Maryland.

The reasons behind it according to senator Klausmeier is for the state of Maryland to remain competitive in its gambling ventures and to keep its citizens from going out of the state to gamble in other casinos that do offer table games.

According to Numerama magazine, ARJEL has asked French ISPs to block access to online gambling sites that have not been authorized by them.

This means that any site that has not paid and been approved for a license to operate in France must be banned from France ISPs.
